Hello all!! If you’ve found my site, you probably already know more about me than what I’m going to share here! My name is Lydia and I wear many hats: wife, mother, sister, daughter, teacher, friend and (most importantly) child of God/daughter of the King. I don’t feel like I’ve ever successfully worn any of these hats over the years but my journey recently has allowed me the opportunity to view my life through a different lens. There are 2 blogs on this site: one personal (In the Margins) and one professional (On the Whiteboard). I will be sharing my heart for improved mental health through the personal blog and my journey building a thinking classroom in the professional blog.
